I first became interested in illustration through cartoons and animation. I loved comic books growing up and just fell in love with the different universes and characters. But often times I didn’t see anything that was a reflection of me. My first time Seeing characters like static shock and black lightning immediately sparked my emulation. The first sketch is by me and features me as black lightning, a heavy influence in my creative journey.
